Almond Butter Smoothie with Greek Yogurt is a delicious protein-packed meal option made with berries, banana, milk, Greek yogurt and almond butter.
It is that time of year again. The time to make those New Year resolutions. This year my resolution is to start out like most! Having my family eating better-for-you foods. After the last couple months of eating eating heavy, sweet or just super butter packed meals, we are all on board. A go-to meal for my family to start the day are smoothies. Everyone enjoys drinking them and you can load them up with antioxidants and with this Almond Butter Smoothie with Greek Yogurt, you also get protein to keep you feeling full longer.
Almond Butter Smoothies with Greek Yogurt
Almond Butter Smoothie with Greek Yogurt might just be at the top of my favorite smoothies list. This smoothie is loaded with sweet berries. A banana adds thickness and nutritional value. Greek Yogurt creates a great creaminess and I love the Honey Vanilla one to also add in some great flavor. Almond butter gives this smoothie a nutty note and really rounds out the ingredients for a smoothie you enjoy drinking!
Tips & Tricks
Freezing Fruit
Feeding your family healthier begins at the grocery store. Go ALL out at in the produce section. Grab a rainbow of colors with loads of greens, different types of fruits and easy to grab items like carrots. If your family is like mine however, loading the fridge with produce often ends in a lot of waste at the end of the week. Have a plan for that wasted produce so it doesn’t get thrown away! I always freeze our berries before they go bad. So what does not get eaten, gets put into freezable storage bags and saved for smoothies.

I’m ALWAYS down for a smoothie recipe. Crazily enough, I’d rather drink my breakfast than eat it.
This is so clever, especially because I hate using protein powder and it sounds yummy too
