Candy Cane infused Vodka

November 27, 2019 by Amber 9 Comments

Candy Cane Infused Vodka is simple to make and festive for the holiday season made with your favorite vodka and candy canes.

Peppermint is one of the biggest seasonal flavors this time of year. From peppermint mochas to delicious peppermint dessert concoctions, peppermint is everywhere. Candy Cane Vodka infuses that peppermint flavor in alcohol form. This infusion is a fun way to celebrate the holidays with friends or to even gift.

Candy Cane Infused Vodka

Candy Cane Infused Vodka has a great peppermint flavor that is so festive and colorful. All you need is 2 ingredients. Vodka and some miniature candy canes. Tastes great as a shot with a crushed candy cane rim or in a holiday inspired cocktail.

Try this Candy Cane Infused Vodka Chocolate Martini and this warming Spiked Candy Cane Hot Chocolate.

Make The Amount You Need

1 cup = 8 ounces vodka plus 4 mini candy canes

1 pint = 16 ounces vodka plus 8 candy canes

1 liter = 32 ounces vodka plus 16 mini candy canes

1/2 gallon (handle) = 59 ounces vodka plus 28 mini candy canes

Vodka

Higher quality vodkas will infuse better and make the overall drink taste smoother. I typically just go for a mid priced vodka like Grey Goose. Unwrap each candy cane and put into vodka bottle. Put the vodka bottle to the side and let the candy cane flavor infuse for at least 4 hours. Shake well before using. Never use a plastic container for infusing vodka, you will also infuse the plastic taste. Nobody wants a plastic flavored anything. So, if you are transferring the vodka into another container to infuse, make sure it is glass, like a mason jar.
