Tips & Tricks
Oil Vs. Butter
Personally, I like using butter in this recipe because it adds that nice buttery note in every bite. Oil also works well. To substitute butter with oil, simply reduce the amount needed to about 3/4. So, 3/4 of half a cup is about 6 Tablespoons. Also try applesauce as a great replacement to butter!
Bananas
Those overripe, mushy, almost black on the outside kind of bananas work best for this recipe. First off, they mash super easily so you can get a nice consistency of banana flavor throughout the bread. Overripe bananas are also rich in antioxidants which is good for your health!
