The Firehouse Guacamole Burger is the ultimate “cheat” day burger with Pepper Jack cheese, bacon and jalapenos stuffed ground sirloin patties and my fan favorite Firehouse Guacamole on a pretzel bun. Do I need to say much more? There is a little kick to these burgers so caution! Must love some heat. I hope you love these burgers as much as my family! - 2 tablespoons A1
- 1 1/4 pound ground sirloin
- 4 ounces pepper jack cheese from a block
- 1/2 cup Quaker Oats old fashioned oats
- 2 eggs
- 1 tomato
- 6 slices bacon
- lettuce
- 6 pretzel buns
- Firehouse Guacamole
- Gather all ingredients, 2 large bowls, spatula, favorite knife for chopping, cutting board, garlic press, foil, cookie sheet, pan to cook bacon, and fire up the grill.
- Wash all fruits and vegetables well.
- Prepare the guacamole per instructions for Firehouse Guacamole
- Now time for the burgers! Cook 6 pieces of bacon extra crispy on the stove top. Set to the side.
- Put the 1 pound ground sirloin into a large bowl.
- Cube 4 ounces of pepper jack cheese from a cheese block and add to the bowl.
- Chop the 6 pieces of extra crispy cooked bacon and add to the bowl.
- Very finely chop 1 jalapeno and add to the bowl.
- Add 1/2 cup Quaker Oats old fashioned oats to the bowl.
- Add 2 raw eggs to the bowl.
- Add 2 tablespoons of A1 sauce to the bowl.
- Cover a cookie sheet with foil and set up next to the bowl.
- Wash hands.
- Using your hands, mix the ingredients together. Once mixed, roll 6 balls packing the ingredients tightly together and set on the foil covered cookie sheet. Hand press balls into burger patties.
- Wash hands well.
- Put bowl of guacamole and the cookie sheet with patties into the fridge for a minimal of 30 minutes.
- Fire up the grill. Cook burgers until well done.
- Chop a tomato.
- Assemble burgers. Add the burger patty, lettuce, tomato, and guacamole on top of a prezel bun. Enjoy! The ultimate Firehouse Guacamole burger stuffed with cheese, bacon and jalapeno. Yum!
