Monster Strawberry Cinnamon Rolls are here! You get a nice fluffy roll with a sweet strawberry filling and a smooth cream cheese frosting drizzled on top. These cinnamon rolls are so tasty and seriously ginormous.
I’m not even going to lie, I could not for the life of me get a good photo of these babies. This was my second attempt and the images don’t do the recipe justice. Monster strawberry cinnamon rolls are very impressive and would be so perfect for a weekend brunch treat or maybe a Valentine’s Day breakfast. Hint, hint… the day is rapidly approaching.
All good cinnamon rolls take a little bit of patience and time to make. These are no different. After preparing your dough, there is a wait time to be able to roll it out and then they need more time to rise more before cooking in the oven. Plus, making monster rolls like these you need to make sure the yeast has had time to fully activate and do its job or you won’t be getting that wonderful fluffy texture. I used strawberry jam today combined with fresh strawberries. You can also swap the jam for pie filling, which I have done and turns out great, or you can make your own fresh strawberry sauce. If you choose to make your own strawberry sauce, make sure it is really thick because having something too runny could really ruin the filling.
Enjoy with a cold glass of milk and cheers to brunch time!
