No-Bake Peanut Butter Chocolate Pie is a delicious dessert made with creamy peanut butter, cream cheese, whipped topping, powdered sugar filling topped with chocolate fudge and more whipped topping in an OREO cookie crust.

Peanut butter may just be my biggest weakness! Especially when it comes to desserts. Maybe you saw that Peanut Butter Swirl Chocolate Bark from just a few days ago! You can’t go wrong with peanut butter. This No-Bake Peanut Butter Chocolate Pie is one of those desserts I always turn to for all sorts of occasions because it always turns out how I expect every single time and people cannot get enough.

No-Bake Peanut Butter Chocolate Pie

No-Bake Peanut Butter Chocolate Pie has simple OREO cookie crust full of chocolate with a super creamy pie filling full of delicious peanut butter. A layer of chocolate fudge is added because… well peanut butter and chocolate is the perfect combination and it adds a richness to the pie. A whipped topping layer on the fudge balances those decadent layers. This is a such a great dessert to indulge yourself without a lot of effort to create.

Tips & Tricks

When it comes to no-bake desserts, they are pretty difficult to mess up which is sort of the beauty of them. There are two ingredients you want to pay attention to however. One is the cream cheese. Let the cream cheese rest on the counter for a little bit to warm and soften up before making this pie. A softened cream cheese will make it a whole lot easier to beat with other ingredients to create that nice smooth pie filling texture. Also, make sure to defrost the whipped topping. Frozen whipped topping will be more difficult to work with.

Description

No-Bake Peanut Butter Chocolate Pie is a delicious dessert made with creamy peanut butter, cream cheese, whipped topping, powdered sugar filling topped with chocolate fudge and more whipped topping in an OREO cookie crust.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 25 OREO cookies
  • 4 Tablespoons unsalted butter, (melted)
  • 8 ounce cream cheese block, (room temperature)
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 1/4 cup confectioner sugar
  • 16 ounces whipped topping, (defrosted (I like the Cool-Whip brand))
  • 1/2 cup hot chocolate fudge topping

Garnish

  • creamy peanut butter
  • chocolate fudge
  • peanuts, (chopped)
  • OREO cookies, (chopped)

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, crush 25 OREO cookies. Add the melted butter and pulse until fully blended.
  2. Place into a 9 inch pie dish and spread out and flatten using the bottom of a measuring cup to form a crust.
  3. Place crust in fridge for 10 minutes.
  4. In a mixing bowl, add cream cheese, 1 cup peanut butter and confectioners sugar. Use a hand or stand mixer to beat the ingredients until smooth and creamy. Add half the whipped topping and beat again to create the pie filling.
  5. Remove crust from fridge, add the pie filling and spread out evenly using a spatula.
  6. Heat up 1/2 cup of hot fudge in a glass bowl or mug in the microwave for 1 minute. Stir well. Pour the fudge over pie filling and use the back of a spoon to spread out evenly over top.
  7. Place the pie in fridge for another 10 minutes.
  8. Remove pie from fridge, add the other half of the whipped topping spreading it out evenly over top of the chocolate fudge layer.
  9. Garnish the pie however you wish. I placed some peanut butter and chocolate fudge into sandwich bags, warmed them up in the microwave and cut a small corner off each. Then made horizontal and vertical stripes. I then chopped a couple OREO cookies and some peanuts to decorate the edges of the pie.
  10. Chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve. You can make this dessert one day prior!

This was fun to make and special enough to serve for a special occasion. It’s very sweet and rich, so a little slice goes a long way!

Not really meant to be a “healthy” dessert but you can certainly try some different things. Maybe cut back sugar a tad and leave out the extra fudge….
