Pumpkin Dip is a tasty treat made with cream cheese, confectioners sugar, heavy cream, pumpkin puree, vanilla pudding and a pinch of pumpkin pie spice.
Autumn has officially begun! Of course, the number one fall goodie is pumpkin flavored everything and it does really seem like EVERYTHING is being made with a pumpkin flavor version now. I don’t hate it though. Pumpkin is a wonderful mellow flavor and perfect for sweet treats. Pumpkin Dip is perfect for a quick and really simple dessert to feed friends and family at a gathering this fall. Always a crowd pleaser!
Pumpkin Dip
Pumpkin Dip is thick and creamy and pairs perfectly with simple cookies like Nilla Wafers, graham crackers or even fruits like some crisp granny smith apple slices. This dip reminds me of a pumpkin cheesecake with all that creaminess and just the right amount of pumpkin spice flavoring. So much easier than whipping this pumpkin dip up though over baking an entire cheesecake and so easy to serve to guests.
Ingredients
- Cream Cheese
- Confectioners Sugar
- Pumpkin Puree. Make sure it is not pumpkin pie filling.
- Vanilla Instant Pudding Packet
- Pumpkin Pie Spice
- Heavy Cream
Steps
- Let cream cheese soften on counter for at least 30 minutes and place a mixing bowl and beaters into freezer to chill prior to making dip.
- Remove bowl and beaters from freezer once chilled and pour heavy cream into bowl. Assemble hand mixer and beat the cream to a stiff peak turning it into a whipped cream. A stiff peak is when the beaters can be lifted from bowl and the whipped cream stands up without flopping over. Set bowl to side.
- In a another bowl, beat the cream cheese, confectioners sugar and pumpkin puree together until smooth.
- Add pudding, pumpkin spice and beat again.
- Add the whipped cream and stir until fully incorporated.
- You can sprinkle a little cinnamon or pumpkin spice seasoning on top for garnish and serve.
