Rosemary Maple Mashed Sweet Potatoes
Rosemary Maple Mashed Sweet Potatoes are really easy to make just as a normal mashed potato is but provides a more sophisticated flavor profile without being over the top. Adults and children will enjoy this dish with the creamy texture and sweetness. Rosemary is the the secret weapon for these potatoes. The rosemary adds a lovely aromatic but also a hint of pine that pairs perfectly with the sweetness of maple syrup.
Maple Syrup
Trust me, our Sunday pancake breakfast is usually met with a cheap syrup off the grocery shelf but for this particular recipe, I recommend splurging on a higher quality maple syrup. Look for the wording “100% pure” and shy away from the ingredient high fructose corn syrup. You will be able to taste the difference!
