Strawberry Banana Smoothie

Strawberry Banana Smoothie is made with frozen strawberries, fresh bananas, honey, Greek yogurt, almond milk and some chia seeds. A delicious, fruity smoothie that is refreshing and satisfying. 

My family has a love for smoothies. There is just something about sitting down or enjoying a fruity mixture to get the day going or to sip on for lunch on a super hot day. Smoothies are packed with nutrition and are a great pick-me-up. What is there not to love?

Strawberry Banana Smoothie is all about that banana and strawberry flavor! It is jam packed full of yumminess. A drizzle of honey adds a nice sweetness while yogurt gives it a nice thickness. Nutrient dense chia seeds are also in this smoothie to supply more antioxidants and fiber.

Description

Strawberry Banana Smoothie is made with frozen strawberries, fresh bananas, honey, Greek yogurt, almond milk and some chia seeds. A delicious, fruity smoothie that is refreshing and satisfying. 


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups sliced frozen strawberries
  • 2 bananas
  • 1/2 cup Greek plain or vanilla yogurt
  • 1/2 cup almond milk (plus more if need to thin out smoothie)
  • 1 Tablespoon chia seeds
  • honey

Instructions

  1. Place frozen strawberries, bananas, ,milk, chia seeds, yogurt and a drizzle of honey into blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.

    Yum! I make a similar smoothie for my girls a lot, but I don’t include chia seeds because they are weird about texture lol

      Yea, chia seeds can have a weird texture but I don’t really taste them in tis smoothie and my kids love this smoothie so might be worth a shot sneaking some in and see what happens.
